Peggy Crowder
Peggy Jo Crowder, 82, of Chickamauga passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019.
She was a member of Revival Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Junior Crowder; mother, Emma Thomason; brother, John Thomason; and daughter-in-law, Jamie Crowder.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann (Bill) Shelby of Christiana, Tenn., Debra (Bill) Cullen of Colorado Spring, Colo., and Betty (Johnny) Burrow of Chickamauga; sons, Don Crowder of Shelbyville, Tenn., Rev. Butch Crowder and Allen (Lolita) Crowder all of Chickamauga; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren totaling 102; brothers, Bobby (Jane) Thomason of Rock Spring, Marvin Thomason, Jimmy (Betty) Thomason, and Shorty Thomason all of Chickamauga; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Turnipseed, Pastor David Hoskins and Rev. Jimmy Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from noon until hour of service.
Interment at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Allen Crowder, Johnny Burrow, Bill Cullen, Devon Crowder, Seth Crowder, and Shaun Murray. Honorary pallbearer is Matthew Crowder.
Flowers are welcome or donations may be made in Peggy’s memory at the funeral home.
