Railey, Myrtle "Jean" Aters (LaFayette)

Myrtle “Jean” Aters Railey, 92, of LaFayette, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019. She was a member of Harbor Lights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Railey; daughter, Patsy Simpson; grandson, Jeff Railey; and parents, Tom and Susie Aters.

She is survived by her son, Ronald (Bobbie) Railey; grandchildren, Shelly Railey  Fuller and Vince Fuller and Phillip (Katelyn) Railey of Colorado Springs, CO; great grandchildren, Krista, Keisha, Hope, Tyler, Evie, and Odin; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 25, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Jennings officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from noon until hour of service.

Interment will be at LaFayette Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Lewis Railey, Doug Railey, Vince Fuller, Tyler Simpson, Phillip Railey, Shelly Railey Fuller, and Patrick Parris. Honorary pallbearer is Will Thomas.
