Bosie Dawson
Bosie Lee Dawson, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, in local hospital.
He retired from CARTA after 45 years. He was a member of Olivet Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and was a Sunday School member.
Bosie was preceded in death by his mother, aunt, sister, and uncle.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Romell Dawson; son, A. Twain (Deetra) Dawson; grandchildren, Jaden Dawson and Andersen Dawson all of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law, Ada Patterson and Sherry Jackson, both of Chattanooga, Kenover Jackson of Indianapolis, IN, and Shirley Jackson of Atlanta; nephews, Roy Dawson of Charlotte, NC and Perry Dawson of Chattanooga; brothers-in-law, George Patterson and Herman Jackson both of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Tuesday, April 16, from 6-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 17, at noon at Olivet Baptist Church with Bishop Kevin L. Adams, Sr. as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
