Marcie Louise Mathews, 83, of Rising Fawn, passed away April 17, 2019.
Marcie was a member of Ascalon Baptist Church, loved to cook and care for her flowers. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Mathews; parents, Frank and Lelar Parker; sister, Mildred Price; and brother, Frank Parker, Jr.
Survivors include her sister, Rachel (Herbert) Mathews and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19 at 4 p.m. in the Trenton Chapel, with Brother Ronald Blevins and Brother David Hale officiating. Internment will follow in Ascalon Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m.
