Edna Owens
Edna Owens, 70, passed away on April 19, 2019.
She was a longtime employee of Beaulieu of America in Bridgeport, Al.
Survivors include her husband, Meredith Owens, Jr.; son, Meredith Owens III; two daughters, Veronica Owens Butler and Daphne Owens, all of Chattanooga; bonus daughters , Leslie Tucker, Jennifer Tucker, Olivia Tucker, Jacqueline Tucker and Jennifer Ann Owens; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, Miles (Helen) Bivens; sisters, Virginia (Larry) Owens, Charlene (Issiah)Cherry, Gloria (Willie) Johnson, Debra Sanders, Denise (Al) Townsend; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Beard (Wil) and Sandra (Fred) Barge; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The body will lie in state on Wednesday, April 24, after noon.
The family will receive friends from 7–8 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 25, at 1 p.m. at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Robert Tate officiating. Interment will be in National Cemetery.
