Katherine Selvidge
Katherine H. Selvidge, 85, lifetime resident of Birchwood, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
Katherine was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She was of Baptist faith and attended Birchwood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Blucher Selvidge; daughter Murriel Dean Selvidge; granddaughter Linda Jean Selvidge; parents George Bradford Melton and Pauline Lane Melton; three brothers Clarence “Buck” Melton, Jessie Melton and Jimmy Melton and two sisters Bernice Rogers and Georgia Newcom.
She is survived by her daughters Alice Moon (David) and Zorah Kathleen Morgan (Bob); son Arnold Bradford Selvidge (Myong); brother Donnie Melton; sisters Carol Henry, Martha Elizabeth Dye and Diane Williams; six grand-children and six great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the celebration of life service at 12 p.m. at Birchwood Baptist Church in Birchwood. The internment will follow at McInturff Cemetery in Birchwood.
