100 Volunteers Participate In Annual Keller Williams RED Day At Chambliss Center For Children

  • Thursday, May 9, 2019

100 Keller Williams agents and employees went to the Chambliss Center for Children campus on Thursday for their annual RED Day.

“We always look forward to the Keller Williams group coming out to volunteer,” said Emily Barrow, director of Volunteer Services for Chambliss Center for Children.

“We had a great team of volunteers from Keller Williams East Brainerd and The Mark Hite Team, and we are grateful for all of their help. It was great to have former volunteers visit our campus again and the opportunity to work with some new volunteers as well.”

Introduced in 2009, RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is Keller Williams Realty's annual day of service. Each year on the second Thursday of May, associates spend the day away from their businesses serving worthy organizations and causes in their communities. The volunteers who came to Chambliss Center for Children tackled interior projects such as deep cleaning, painting, replacing ceiling tiles, organizing, and reading to classrooms. Exterior projects included pressure washing, weeding, planting our garden, mulching playgrounds, and trimming hedges.
