Emily Williford
Emily Williford, 96, of Chattanooga, died on June 13, 2019, at Alexian Village Health Care Center, Signal Mountain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Annie Oakman; brother, Dr. A.G. Grant, Jacksonville, AR; and husband of 61 years, John (Jack) Williford.
Emily was a member of Friendship Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women and Brainerd Methodist Church. She was retired from TVA after 38 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda L. Tucker of Chattanooga, and a number of nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A private burial will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Reverend Leonard (Ted) Smith officiating.
