Thrive Yoga Festival Comes To East Brainerd In September
Thursday, June 20, 2019
Thrive Yoga Festival takes the stage at Audubon Acres, 900 North Sanctuary Road, on Saturday, Sept. 14 from noon-5 p.m.
Organized by Thrive Yoga & Wellness as a first annual event, the Thrive Yoga Festival will feature guided meditation hikes through the woods, SUP Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Vinyasa Flows, Gentle Flows, Hit Yoga, Chakra Dance and Kundalini Yoga. Children's Yoga will be led by the Young Yogalettes.
Local artisans and food vendors will be on site to offer an array of local products, as well as food and drink.
Music headliners for the day are local band "The Spinsters," and a drum circle will get everyone involved in the music-making at the festival.
Thrive Yoga and Wellness Owner Jennifer Dixon says, "We're inviting the whole community to come out and join us as we say 'Goodbye Summer' with a full day of practice and play outside at Audubon Acres, a 130-acre sanctuary less than five miles from Thrive Yoga and Wellness. We are excited to be bringing the Thrive Yoga Festival to the East Brainerd area, as Audubon Acres celebrates 75 years of conservation, education and serving as one of Chattanooga's most beautiful outdoor playgrounds with trails, creeks and local history."
