Ruby Harris Young, 100, passed away on July 15, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Harris and husband, Hobert Young; father, Ernest Millard; mother, Gertrude Millard; step father, Will Henry; sister, Edith Martin; brothers, Ira Millard and Charlie Millard.

Mrs. Young is survived by her son, Conrad Harris; step children, Bob and Bobbie Young, Gayle Whitley, Janie Potter; grandsons, Chris (Lisa) Harris and Shannon (Karen) Harris; four great-grandchildren as well as several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, from 11 a.m.– 2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home Highway 58.  The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Turner Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Herman Saunders officiating.  Mrs. Young will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Gardens East.

Ruby was the last surviving member of King’s Point Baptist Church, est. 1942. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to King’s Point Baptist Church c/o Jack Buckner at 4606 Locksley Lane, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.
