Billie J. Alligood, 92, of Chattanooga passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019.
She was a member of Hickory Valley Christian Church and the Leaders Sunday School class and attended Stanly Heights Baptist Church. Billie and her husband Lewis were co-owners of Towel & Linen Inc. Billie was a great cook and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Green; parents, William Francis Boggs Sr. and Maude Lavenia Burnette Boggs; siblings, Charlie Boggs, Keith Boggs, Maxine Boggs, William Francis Boggs II and Harless Boggs.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis C. Alligood; two daughters, Teresa Honeycutt and Anita Camden; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, at The East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road with her grandson, Pastor Matthew Honeycutt and the Reverend Brent Baughman officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the funeral home.
