Catherine Sheppard
Catherine Sheppard, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019, in a local hospital.
She was formerly employed by SRI Company.
She was preceded in death by her father, Will McCorkle; mother, Mattie (Jesse) Humphrey; husband, Odell Sheppard; brothers, Billy McCorkle and Johnny McCorkle; daughter, Bridgette Nunn; son, Edward Nunn; brother-in-law, Norman Talley, and daughter-in-law, Edna Sheppard.
Survivors include her sons, Leonard (Dedra) Sheppard, Jr. and Rico Sheppard; stepsons, Ricky Sheppard and Walter Sheppard, all of Chattanooga; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sadie Talley, Mildred (Emanuel) Finley, both of Chattanooga, Shelia (Michael) Peoples, and Mamie (Scott) Slaughter, both of Denver, Co.; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Monday, Aug. 26, at 11 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Ronald Tucker as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
