Robert Florence
Robert Florence Sr., 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, in Chattanooga.
He retired from Walker County Schools and Chickamauga Telephone Company. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Chickamauga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Leola Florence; brother, Odell Florence; sisters, Catherine Braswell and Jeanette Alford.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Mary Florence of Rossville; children, Ruby J. Florence-Jones, Alexander T. Florence, Laura J. Florence, Janice E. Florence-Smiley, Paula R. Florence, Felicite N. Florence-White (Johnny), Robert D. Florence Jr., Monica E. McDaniel-Walton, Harley B. McDaniel; sister, Odessa Pritchett; 34 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; dear friends, Nobel Powell and Joe McDaniel (Willie); and a host of other family and friends.
No public service is planned.
