Sam Townsend
Sam Townsend, 79, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019.
He was born in Cuba, Alabama. He retired from U.S. Pipe after 38 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Annie (Tarvin) Townsend and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by loving wife of 55 years, Mary Helen and daughter, Tenisa Townsend; other brothers and sisters, relatives and friends.
Public viewing begins at 9 a.m. and the family will receive friends from 11 a.m.–noon on Friday, Sept. 20, at the funeral home, followed by a 1 p.m. graveside service at Chattanooga Memorial Park, 501 Memorial Drive, Chattanooga Tn. 37415.
