Phyllis Ellis
Phyllis Ellis, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ellis; her parents, John and Cecile Reattoir; and a grandchild, Casey Coker.
She was a member of Varnell United Methodist Church, served at Meals on Wheels and spent much of her life raising her family.
She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law: Cyndie Coker of Cohutta, Denise (Harold) Caldwell of Varnell, Amy (Bobby) Hughes of Cohutta and Felicia (Joe) Elkins of Bolivia, N.C., three sons and daughters-in-law: Gary (Janet) Ellis of Madera, Ca., Stephen (Carole) Ellis of Joplin, Mo., and James (Becky) Ellis of Cohutta, Ga.; one sister, Sandra Reattoir of Dalton; and nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Varnell United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Branscomb and David Gallegly officiating.
Burial will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 11 a.m. until the service hour at 1 p.m.
