Grady “Wray” Wilkins, Sr., age 82, of Dalton, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Standifer Place.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Wilkins; and parents, Greene and Emma Wilkins.
He was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Leslie Wilkins of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Grady and Cathy Wilkins of Dalton; special friend, Barbara Locke of Dalton; grandchildren, Holly and Dana Poe, Amy and Steven Ridley, Amanda and Wes Snyder, Hope and Taylor Gilstrap, Hannah and Josh Bowen, Alison and Jake Dunagan, Whitney and Jonas Kelly; great-grandchildren, Mallory, Jillian and Shea Poe, Emma, Peyton and Wade Ridley, Tristyn and Cadynce Curry, Weslynn, Blakelyn, Lily, Emma and Kate Snyder, Ava and Rowan Gilstrap, Camryn, Rhett, Bennett and Chandler Bowen, and Wilkes Dunagan.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Wilkins will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 12 p.m. until the service time at 2 p.m.
