Kevin-Michael Garret
Kevin-Michael Garret, 30, of Harrison, Tennessee, was born on June 7, 1989, the only child of Winnel Ellington and Kenneth Garret in Detroit, Michigan. Unfortunately and unnecessarily, his life was taken away on January 12, 2020.
He moved to Chattanooga in 2012 and through the years made many friends in the area. Kevin was a very happy and outgoing person and very family oriented and his favorite saying was, “I’m living my best life”.
Kevin is survived by his daughter who was his everything, Londyn Garrett; mother, Winnel Ellington; father, Kenneth Garrett; stepfather, Charles Ellington; grandmothers, Winifred Knights and Laura Garrett; grandfathers, Patrick King and James Garrett; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service with Holy Eucharist will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, at St. Martin of Tours Episcopal Church, 7547 E. Brainerd Road, with Fr. Jim Wallace officiating.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Rd.
