Mae Elizabeth Johnson Everett, 96, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020.  

She was born in Ringgold, on April 26, 1923, to the late Clarence and Winnie Trundle.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, John F. Johnson and Jesse R. Everett; siblings, John Trundle, Laura Trundle Lindsey and Alice Trundle Kolling. She was a graduate of Ringgold High School class of 1942.

Survivors include her daughter, Roxana (Ricky) Pressnell of Elmont, AL; son, John (Debbie) Johnson of Rossville, GA; grandchildren, Steven (Amanda) Johnson of Rossville, GA and Jessica Styles of Elkmont, AL; great-grandchildren, Kara Johnson of Rossville, GA, Gavin Files of Elkmont, AL, Emily Johnson of Rossville, GA and Avaline Martin of Elkmont, AL; several nieces and nephews.

Mae was a founding member of Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene where she was actively involved and was a member of “chicks” quilting group at church.

She retired from the dental office of Dr. Larry Fogo, D.D.S. in 1998 after 30 years of service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Reverend Joe Brown officiating.  

Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.  

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and 10–11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
