Jimmy Holloway
Windle Jerry "Jimmy" Holloway, age 76, a Whitfield County retired auto mechanic, went home to be with his Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, on January 6, 2020.
Jimmy was born on Sept. 29, 1943 and preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Eula McCallister Holloway; sister, Pat Holloway Barlow; brothers, David and Robert Holloway; step-children, Butch and Becky Smith; and first wife and mother of his son, Marie Moss Holloway.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Bobbie Smith Holloway; son, Ricky Dwayne Holloway; two step-daughters, Jan Morris and Lesia Godfrey; grandchildren, Ricky and Cody Holloway, Constance Morris, Brandon Godfrey, Megan Smith Garner, Emily and Holly Smith; 10 great-grands, one great-great-grand; sisters, Brenda Gordon, Diann Boatwright, Kathy Seiber, and Susan Mason; brother, Gene Holloway, as well as brother-in-law, Steve Moss; and 16 nieces and nephews in addition to several loving aunts and cousins; and his special friend, Charles Burk.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his burial fund.
Services will be held at Love Funeral Home in Dalton on Thursday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m. with Brother Jimmy McClure and Reverend Leroy Atkinson officiating. Music will be provided by Reverend Atkinson and Lisa McClure.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 9, from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to service.
