Willie Frank Partridge
Willie Frank Partridge, 84, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at a local hospital.
Frank was a faithful member of Allen Temple AME Church for many years. He served on the Steward board and later made Steward Emeritus. Frank was a member of the Senior Choir and Male Chorus. Frank worked for Chattanooga Gas for many years.
Frank was the son of the late Charlie and Marietta Jones Partridge. He was born in LaGrange, Ga. on April 9, 1936. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah A. Partridge; five brothers, John, James, Albert, Joseph, and Edward Partridge; sister, Roberta Collier.
He is survived by a son, Edward L. Partridge of Los Angeles; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, sister-in-law's, close friends, neighbors and his Allen Temple AME Church family.
Frank will lie in state from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Highland Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Eva M. Settles giving Words of Comfort.
