Dorothy Lillian Green, 83, of Graysville Mountain, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
She was born in Chattanooga on June 4, 1937, the daughter of the late Conrad and Mattie (Watson) Young. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Green.
Dorothy had been a resident of Graysville Mountain since 1994. She retired from Oster Manufacturing after many years. She loved to read her Bible and listen to gospel music and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her three daughters, Peggy (Sam) Giunta of Graysville Mountain, Bridget (Paul) Morgan of Evensville and Terri Lyon of Graysville Mountain and her son, Frank Cronon of Athens. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Dorothy will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at noon at the Hendon Cemetery on Graysville Mountain with Reverend Leroy Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband.
