On the afternoon of November 24, 2020, the heavenly gates opened to welcome Peggy Sue Daniels Palmer to her heavenly home to join her Master Jesus Christ. 

Peggy had turned 62 on the second of this month. She was born on Nov. 2, 1958, to her parents, Thomas and Mary Hicks Daniels. She had lived most of her life in East Ridge, before moving to Cleveland.  

Peggy had been employed with Wal-Mart as a retail sales clerk for numerous years. She was of the Christian faith and loved to serve her Lord and Savior. Peggy loved and worshipped her children, grandchildren and her family along with beloved friends. She was known for loving life to the fullest. In her past time, she enjoyed working puzzles, taking care of her dogs and collecting clowns. Peggy’s heart was one of true love, giving and pureness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Hicks Daniels; son, Jimmy Edward Palmer; and brother, Thomas Daniels, Jr.

Peggy leaves her memories to her children’s father, Jimmy Palmer; sons, Matt (Ashley) Palmer and William (Courtney) Palmer; sisters, Barbara (Larry) Tuders, Tammy Shirley and Kimberly Thurman; grandchildren, Eric, Kalup, and Harleigh Palmer, Christopher Williams, Ryan Johnson and Jayme Palmer along with host of nieces, nephews and loved friends.

The family will have visitation on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.

There will be a graveside service for Peggy at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Hope, Tn. at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Lloyd Harvill officiating. 

Pallbearers are William Palmer, Matt Palmer, Kevin Tuders, Eric Palmer, Chase Tuders, Kalup Palmer and Rusty Tuders.
