U.S. Xpress To Deliver Statues Honoring Medal Of Honor Recipients Thursday

U.S. Xpress is set to deliver the statues of three historic Medal of Honor recipients to the new Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center on Thursday at 9 a.m.

The statutes are part of the Heritage Center’s mission to honor and memorialize Medal of Honor recipients dating back to the Civil War. The statues exhibited will include, Sgt. Alvin York, Mary Edwards Walker, M.D., and Private William Carson.

“We’re proud to play a small role in the opening of this important asset in our community,” said U.S.

Xpress President and CEO Eric Fuller. “Helping to honor our nation’s military heroes is a natural fit with our culture and our own commitment to hire veterans.”
