Ellis Johnson
Ellis N. Johnson, 66, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at his residence surrounded by family.
He graduated from Riverside High School, Class of 1971. He retired from Memorial Hospital and was a member of Rock Island Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Johnson, Sr., mother, Martha Matthews and brother, James Johnson, Jr.
Leaving to cherish his memory are Debbie Johnson, wife of 25 years; children, Shamika Johnson, Eclesia Epps, Sherman (Lorraine) Foster and Torey (Melinda) Coonrod; stepfather, Joe Matthews; siblings, Raymond (Darlene) Johnson, Fred Johnson, Juanita Williams and Wynetta (Wilbert) McLean.
The family would like to send a very special thank you to Michelle Williams of Chattanooga; who has been a very important, caring and loving sister in law throughout this journey.
A private service will be held.
