Frances Marie Redd
Frances Marie Redd, age 86, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 at the family residence.
Mrs. Redd was born in Cleveland and she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Marie McKinney Gentry and her husband Oscar Gentry. Her husband, Sam Redd Jr.; daughter, Janet Renee Ramsey and her husband Mike Ramsey; great-grandchild, Jessica Ann Green; half-sisters, Betty Ball and Cathy Davis; step-brothers, Thomas Gentry and Jack Gentry, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Redd was retired from Bendix Corp. as a production worker with many years of service. She enjoyed going to mountains, being on the lakes and she loved going to gospel singings. Most of all, she loved being with her family. Mrs. Redd was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Josephine Green and her husband Terry, June Stiles and her husband Lowry; son, Anthony Redd and his wife Patsy, all of Cleveland; granddaughters, Tamara Wooten and her husband Brian, Amanda Redd, Lacy Self and her husband Tucker; grandsons, Terry Daniel Green and his wife April, Allen Redd and his wife Samantha, Nathan Redd and his wife Leslie; great-granddaughters, Rachel Green, Abigail Wooten, Kayla Redd, Stormy Self, Willow Self and Aereonna Scott; great-grandsons, Joshua Daniel Green, Jessie Wooten and Riley Redd; half brothers, John Gentry and his wife Sherry of Riceville, Tn., Reverend Earl Gentry and his wife Linda, of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 24, at 3 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend Sammy Hooker officiating. Entombment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Danny Green, Nathan Redd, Alan Redd, Brian Wooten, Jesse Wooten and Riley Redd serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
