Vernon Mullins
Vernon Fred Mullins, 79, of Rocky Face, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Eula Mullins; and a sister, Dot Jones.
Mr. Mullins was a United States Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Earlene and Michael Deeter of Rocky Face, Tracy Minke of Mississippi, and Joni and Richard Adams of Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Bill Callahan of Chatsworth; brother and sister-in-law, James and Pam Mullins of Calhoun; grandchildren, Lucas Trammell, Derrian Arehart, Alexis Adams, Katelyn Minke, and Madelynn Minke; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 6, at 4 p.m. at Griffin Cemetery with the American Legion Post 112 providing military honors.
The family will receive friends at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home Monday, July 6, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
