Jane Gregg
Jane Price Gregg, 91, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by family, September 19, 2020.
Jane was born in Cartersville, Ga. She enjoyed crocheting, going to Tuesday morning breakfast with her church friends, and most of all, spending time with her family and special grandchildren, Colby and Bradley. Jane was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church. She was always happy and a good friend to everyone who knew her.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, R.E. and Elma Price; twin brother, Wayne Price (Tootsie); sister, Mary Hayes (Gene); brother, William H. Price; husband, C.H. McCain; sons, Robert Cletus and Robert Harold McCain; and husband of 40 years, Robert G. Gregg.
Jane leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Tracy Denton (Randy) of Georgetown; son, Mark Gregg of Cleveland; grandsons, Colby Denton (Leslie) of Hendersonville, NC and Bradley Denton of Georgetown; and nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Daniel Vance, Melissa Philpot and the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for their loving support during these last 2 ½ years and to Georgetown Baptist Church for their love and support. A heartfelt thanks to Jane’s special angels, Bradley, Judy and Randy who helped take care of her.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 4 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend Gerald Atkins officiating and the Neeley's providing the special music. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Terry Denton, Joshua Denton, Curtis Cline, Brandon Edwards, Tim Sherman and Tristan Sherman serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Daryll Gregg, Donnie Gregg, Kenneth Gregg and Edd Pruitt.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 2-4 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
