CHI Memorial Medical Group announces Cassandra Rodriguez, MSN, NP-C, GS-C, has been certified as a gerontological specialist by the Gerontology Nursing Certification Commission.
Ms. Rodriguez works at the CHI Memorial Center for Healthy Aging’s Alexian Village clinic. This certification distinguishes advanced practice providers who "possess expert knowledge, experience, and skill in managing the complex health needs of older adults."

Officials said, "CHI Memorial Center for Health Aging specializes in geriatric medicine providing quality health care that helps older adults remain healthy and active. In addition to providing primary healthcare for those age 55 and older, CHI Memorial Center for Healthy Aging focuses on managing and treating complex age-related conditions including memory loss, fall and balance issues and dementia-related behavioral problems."

The Missionary Ridge Medical Tower clinic is located at 725 Glenwood Dr., Suite E-786 in Chattanooga, and is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The Boynton Terrace Apartments clinic is located at 957 Boynton Dr. in Chattanooga, and is open Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m.-noon. The Signal Mountain clinic is located at Alexian Village, 437 Alexian Way in Signal Mountain, and is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
