Robert Leon Siffles, Sr., age 77, of Martin Street, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the residence.
Born in Chattooga County, Ga., on June 17, 1944, he was a son of the late Robert (Bob) and Bernice Smith Siffles. Mr. Siffles was a truck driver for Dawson Pulp Wood and attended the Community Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Faye Edgeworth Siffles on Oct. 19, 2021; grandson, Braiden Fitzpatrick; and siblings, Margaret Siffles, Geneva Fountain, Billy Siffles, Ray Siffles, Charles Ragan, Terry Ragan and Hollis Siffles.
Surviving are, daughters and son-in-law, Cindy Renae and Jamie Fitzpatrick, Megan Grace Siffles, and Jane Siffles; son and daughter-in-law, Robert, Jr. and Angela Siffles; grandchildren, Colt and Ansley Siffles, Justin and Asa Fitzpatrick and Salita Siffles; great-grandchildren, Kade Lassitter, Chloe Lassitter, Braiden Siffles, Riley Fitzpatrick, Kaylee Fitzpatrick; sisters, Betty Edgeworth, Dorothy Forest, Glenda Green, Linda Wade, Barbara Blackmon; brothers, Jack Siffles, Roger Siffles, Bobby Siffles, and David Ragan; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Collins officiating. Interment will be at Summerville Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Colt Siffles, Justin Fitzpatrick, Michael Blackmon, Brad Edgeworth, Roger Siffles, and Isiah Siffles.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
