David “Pillsbury” McGlamery, age 58, passed away November 29, 2021 at Vanderbilt Memorial Center in Nashville. Everyone loved Pillsbury. He was the life of the party, and enjoyed playing poker every Saturday night. A retired brick mason, he had such a contagious smile that could turn any sad situation happy.
He was preceded in death by parents, Doyle and Bobbie McGlamery Sr.; and two brothers, Glenn and Dale McGlamery.
Survivors include wife of 28 years, Tammy McGlamery; daughters and sons-in-law, Arieal (Michael) Wilson and Amber (CeCe) Crawford, all of Chattanooga; son and daughter-in-law, James (Portia) Howell, of Atlanta; one grandson; five granddaughters; one sister, Sandra (Amos) Newman; one brother, Doyle, Jr. (Judy) McGlamery; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, it would be most appreciated if donations were made to Mrs. Tammy McGlamery, on Pillsbury’s behalf, to help defray final expenses.
