Wanda Faye Dunn
Wanda Faye Dunn, age 83, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021, in a Chattanooga health care facility.
Mrs. Dunn was born and raised in Cohutta, Ga. and she was the daughter of the late Estelle Maddron Williams and Oscar Williams. Her husband, Clyde Dunn; her grandson, Jonathan McCarter; her granddaughter, Paula McCarter; her sisters, Ruby and Suzie Burnette, Olva Burns, Catherine Coker, Earlene Starks, Willie Mae Whaley, Emma Williams; and her brothers, Clint Williams and Fred Williams also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dunn was a homemaker and worked on the family farm for many years, mostly in her early married life. She also worked for Faye Swafford Originals for 19 years, the Pro Group for several years and Bendix. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed camping, playing the piano and her dogs. Mrs. Dunn was a 65 year member of the Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Deloris Anderson and her husband Freddie, Jeff Dunn and his wife Margarita, Brenda Alford and her husband Wes, Tony Dunn and his wife Beverly and Dena Herron; her 12 grandchildren, her 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 2, at 2 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Tony Dunn and Reverend Justin Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Missionary Baptist Church with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, March 1, at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
