Timothy Howell Burkett
Timothy Howell Burkett, 62, of Soddy Daisy, TN, died peacefully on Monday, February 1, 2021. He fought a long and courageous battle from complications after having throat cancer.
Having been a native of Chattanooga, Tim was known for his love of Tennessee football, his kind and generous spirit, and his love for his doxies, Ladybug and Lexi. He was loved by so many and his love for family and friends was shown by his constant giving nature.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Elmo and Ruby Estelle Burkett, and his niece, Annie Burkett Blevins.
He was survived by his wife of 22 years, Dacia Paschall Burkett of Soddy Daisy, TN; brothers Nick (Marilyn) and Robin Burkett, both of East Ridge.
The family expresses out sincerest gratitude for all of the prayers and love that have been bestowed on our family and Tim during this long and difficult journey.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger DeHart officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
