McCallie Lacrosse dropped two hard fought games against Memphis University School and Christian Brothers this weekend. Friday night, the Blue Tornado lost to MUS 8-4, and Saturday afternoon, they lost 7-5 to Christian Brothers.
Scorers for McCallie Friday night were Zach Chari with two goals, Christian Chilton, and defender Quinn Fitzsimmons with one each.
Defensively, Weston Hammond and Jaydon Linsey each had five ground balls, and Quinn Fitsimmons had 6 caused turnovers. Saturday, Zach Chari and Matthew Mathias each had two goals and Connor Hofbauer had one. Weston Hammond led the team with 6 ground balls, and Ian Balser and Matthew Mathias also had four apiece.
The Blue Tornado travels across the bridge to take on Baylor Wednesday night.
