Tunice Deanna Young
Tunice Deanna Young, age 83, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
She loved flowers, especially roses, and working in her yard. She was co-founder with her husband of 60 years, Charles E. Young of Youngs Auto Body. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Mrs. Young was a member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church. Her faith in Christ was evident in her everyday life, and she was the backbone of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Young; parents Edward and Cordie Carroll; and three brothers.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in law, David and Jerosalyn Young of Cleveland, son and daughter-in law, Greg and Lisa Young; daughter and son-in law, Charlotte and Ronnie Cross of Cleveland; sister, Dorothy Cartwright of Cleveland; grandchildren, Kevin Young, Josh “Leslie” Cross, Jaimee “Wade” Bettis, Ashley Young, Kaitlyn Young, Christian “Jennette”, Alyssa Renck; special great-grandchildren, Chandler, Aniston, Hannah, Sawyer, Knox, Maeleigh, Emmy, Piper, and Mila; special friends, Idella Dalton, and Faye Botts; and several nieces, nephews, and many other friends also survived.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Josh Cross and James Vaugn officiating. Interment will follow at Samples Memorial Cemetery with Chandler Cross, Greg Young, David Young, Mike Nix, Kevin Young, Wade Bettis, Sawyer Bettis, and Todd Thurmond serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory.
