Mylinda Green
Mylinda Lou Green, 47, of Dayton, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 20, 2021, at Parkridge East Hospital in Chattanooga.
She was born in Rhea County on Oct. 30, 1973, the daughter of the late William Albert “Bill” Sligh and Molly (Caraway) Sligh. Mylinda was also preceded in death by her daughter Kayla Green and her granddaughter Kaysie Green.
Mylinda lived in Dayton most of her life where she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her three children, Adam Green of Florida, Johnathan Sligh of Dayton and Christian Green of Dayton; four brothers, William “Josh” Sligh of Chattanooga, Frankie Sligh of Arkansas, John Ballard of Dayton and Charlie Sligh of Dayton; five sisters, Ginger Sligh of Dayton, Paula (Donnie) Sligh of Dayton, Betty Jo Everett of Chattanooga, Janie Parton of Dayton and Mary Everett of Spring City; several grandchildren; step-mom, Kathryn Sligh of Dayton; and her special aunt, Mary Crowe, of Dayton.
Funeral services for Mylinda will be held on Thursday, April 22, at noon in the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest at the Sligh Family Cemetery in Dayton.
