España Paces Furious Comeback As Red Wolves Tie New England

  • Monday, May 17, 2021
Chattanooga Red Wolves SC came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with the New England Revolution II on Sunday night at Gillette Stadium.

New England opened the scoring to take the lead just before the break. Justin Rennicks got the final Revs II touch on the ball, and it deflected off Chattanooga defender Jason Ramos before trickling in.

Revolution Academy product Noel Buck then doubled New England's lead with his first professional goal in the 54th minute, but the joy wouldn't last long for Revs II.

In the space of seven minutes, Chattanooga scored twice to draw themselves level, with both goals scored by Josue España and assisted by Jonathan Ricketts.

The 2-2 scoreline would hold until the final whistle, and each team ended the night with a point.
Both sides play Fort Lauderdale CF at home in their next match - Chattanooga in its home opener next weekend, and New England in two weeks' time.
