Betty Hardegree
Betty Lou Beatrice Tuck Hardegree, went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2021.
She retired from Erlanger Hospital Clinical Laboratory after 43 years of service. Betty was born in Blount County, Al., on June 10, 1944, to the late Joseph and Pearl Tuck. She was a member of the McConnel Sunday School Class at Hixson Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time at the Soddy-Daisy Senior Center.
She was also preceded in death by her bothers, Edwin and Calvin Tuck.
Betty is survived by her brothers, Wayne, Marvin, and Harlon Tuck of Oneonta, Alabama, sister, Dulcie Patterson of Illinois, daughter, Michelle (Richie) Beene, grandchildren, Adam (Molly) Beene, Lacie (Josh) Black, and great-grandchildren, Reese and Avery Black, special friend, Larry Grier, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, in the funeral home chapel with the honorable Clarence Shattuck officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Siskin Hospital, Cancer Fund or the Ronald McDonald House.
