Helen Marie Tucker, age 78, of March Lane, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at her residence.
A Trion native, she was born to the late Thomas Franklin and Edith Marie Campbell Ingram. She was a member of the Harold Street Church of God and formerly worked for Mt. Vernon Mills in the bleaching department.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel Ingram and Janie Roberts.
Surviving are husband, Michael T. Tucker; daughters, Tanja Evans and Kimberly Blackmon; sister, Bonnie Teems; brother, Danny Ingram; four grandchildren, 18 great -grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 25, at 3 p.m. from the Harold Street Church of God with Rev. Rockland Hughes and Danny Hester officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Merrick Touchstone, Cameron Lyons, Carson Keen, Michael Lyons, D. J. Chapman, and Josh Hines.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 25, from 2-3 p.m. at the Church prior to the funeral service.
