Nathan Hubbs, 78, of Rossville, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 13, 2021. He is the son of the late Ogle Martin and Ruth Bolt Hubbs and was a 1961 graduate of Kirkman Technical School. He worked for the City of Chattanooga Public Works Department for 36 years before retiring, and was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church and a member of the Friendship Class, where he enjoyed leading the singing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Ashmore Hubbs; they had one child, Timothy, who has special needs and Nathan was faithfully devoted to him; sister, Karen Melton (Walt); brothers, Allen Hubbs (Judy) and Randy Hubbs (Diane); as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18 at Brainerd United Methodist Church, with Reverend Tim Bracken officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the Church on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial donations in Nathan’s name be considered to Hospice of Chattanooga or Brainerd United Methodist Church.
