William Evitt
William Miah “Bill” Evitt, 54, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from cancer.
An avid outdoor enthusiast, Bill would encourage everyone to experience the joys of nature, whether it be hunting, fishing, or simply sitting in the sun. A 1985 graduate of LaFayette High School, Bill was everyone’s favorite computer guy. He was well-loved by the community and will be missed by many. Bill was of the Baptist faith.
Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents: William and Fannie Palmer and Miah and Annie Belle Evitt, and his great nephew, Harrison Baker.
Survivors include his only child, Vann Evitt; mother, Patricia Houston; father, Ross (Linda) Evitt; sister, Kay (Larry) Wallin, brother, Tom (Cindy) Langford, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Wallis Wilbanks Funeral Home on Monday, September 20, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Walnut Grove Cemetery at 6:30 p.m.
For everyone’s safety, the family asks that standard Covid protocol be followed.
