Georgia Has 13 More Coronavirus Deaths, 17,397 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Wednesday there have been 13 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 26,472.

There are 17,397 new cases on Wednesday, as that total reaches 1,493,254 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 96,241, which is an increase of 397 since Tuesday.

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 9,328 cases, up 63; 99 deaths

Chattooga County: 3,983 cases, up 30; 97 deaths

Dade County: 2,008 cases, up 10; 19 deaths

Walker County: 10,546 cases, up 57; 138 deaths

Whitfield County: 20,977 cases, up 121; 333 deaths
