Jenny Pack
The 6th Cavalry Museum of Fort Oglethorpe has named Jenny Pack as the new executive director. Ms. Pack comes from Driftwood, Tx., where she served as the executive director of Dr. Pound Farmstead Museum, a heritage museum and historic site.
Prior to becoming executive director, she was the director of Marketing & Events and oversaw all the promotion and event projects including a major fundraiser each year. She also handled all of the social media accounts, press releases, and website.
Ms.
Pack has a background in education with prior teaching experience. Her BA is in Fine Arts and Art History from San Francisco State University. She is in her second year of study in MSC Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology at the University of East London.
"Jenny comes with a unique background in creativity, leadership, and a love of working with people," said Durinda Cheek, board chair. "She believes that shared history is the root of the community, and by keeping our stories alive and relevant we can connect to one another in fundamental ways."
