Ray Stevens Nat” McKee, 76, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022.  

Ray was born in Ooltewah, to the late Mr. Raymond H. McKee and Mrs. Jennie Bell Shipley McKee on September 25, 1945.

Ray owned and operated T M Auto Sales. Ray loved working on and selling cars. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Ray loved his family and most of all, he loved being Papaw to his grandchildren. His great sense of humor and his love for his family and friends will surely be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Delores McKee, Wilma McDaniel, Barbara Leamon, and Geraldine Burkhart and brother; Hershel McKee.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Terri McKee; brothers, Charles and David McKee; daughter, Donna (Ray) Belvin; son, Anthony (Kristy) Goins; granddaughters, Brandy (Taylor) Orr, Brittany (Philip) Witt, and Renee Belvin; grandsons, Charles and Steven Belvin, and Shayne, Braxten, and Wyatt Goins; great-granddaughter, Cassie Witt; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.                       

 A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, at the funeral home with Dr. Jack Rinks and Pastor George Ashburn officiating. Interment will follow at Tyner Cemetery.
