Shayonna Danye Walker, 25, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
She attended Brainerd High School.
Shayonna was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Walker; uncle, Bobby Middlebrooks; aunt, Mary Sue Sawyer; great-grandmother, Mary Lou Middlebrooks; great-grandfather, Foster Middlebrooks; cousin, Terrance Middlebrooks.
Survivors include her children Messiaha Santana Walker, Malachi Walker, and Modesty Lashaya Walker; father, Shod Walker, Sr., mother, Cecilia Middlebrooks; grandparents, Mary Miller, Muriel (Ernest) Horton, and Elvis Dupree; great grandmother, Geraldine Dupree; brothers, Shod Walker, Jr. and Re’azon Heard; sisters, Rogiria Heard and Tiara Walker; uncles, Cordarrius Miller, Jeremiah Miller, Shane Alexander, Derrick Middlebrooks, and Koilyn Walker; aunts, Nadia Miller, Keisha Miller, Tamara (Keon) Sharpe, and Keila Walker; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Shayonna will lie in state on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Elder Danis Ellis as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
