Dianne Kelley Folk passed away on September 23, 2022, at the age of 80 from complications of heart disease.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Willment C. (Bill) Folk, daughter, Deborah Folk McSheffrey of Atlanta; sisters, Donna Guy of Rock Springs and Darlene Lane of Fort Oglethorpe, and brother, David Kelley of Rossville. She was the daughter of the late Woodie and Nettie Kelley.

A lifelong resident of Rossville, Dianne earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Chattanooga and went on to become a Certified Medical Technologist with a specialty in blood banking from the American Medical Technologist Association. She was a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology and served on the AABB Joint Commission as an inspector for Patient Blood Management. She was the manager of Erlanger Medical Center’s blood bank where she was instrumental in ensuring the readiness of the blood bank for the launch of Life Force.

Dianne was an active member of First Centenary United Methodist Church where she frequently volunteered and served as the president of the United Methodist Women. Her volunteer work also included Volunteers in Medicine, a private non-profit providing primary care for the uninsured.

Dianne will be remembered with a service at Kate Lyle West Chapel at First Centenary United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, with the family receiving friends from 12-1 p.m. before the service.
