Payne, Reba Ruth (Cleveland)

Reba Ruth Payne, 86, of Cleveland, passed away on September 21, 2022. She born on June 15, 1936, to the late Steve and Emme Rose in Haysi, Va. Reba loved to read, was an avid Lady Vols fan, enjoyed quilting and, most importantly, loved watching all her grandkids play sports.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Payne; sisters, Sharon Rose Gilbert, Carol Rose and Fern Wright; and one brother, Fayne Rose.

She leaves behind her children, Kelly Don Payne (Shelia), Sherry Beavers (Ricky) and Teresa Payne; siblings, Betty Mullins, Roger Rose (Pat), Scotty Rose (Shelia) and Kelly Rose (Engie); grandchildren, Tyler Beavers, Jada Koch (Robert), Stephenie Stevison, Heather Ferguson (Chris) and Zak Beavers; and great-grandchildren, Taylor & Maddie Koch, Savannah Stevison and Aubree Beavers.

The family will be having a memorial gathering at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel on Thursday, Sept. 29 from 5-8 p.m.
