Mrs. Margaret Parker, 72, of Campbell Crescent Circle, Summerville, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 morning in the local nursing home. A native of Trion, Ga., she was born to the late Robert G. and Elizabeth Jane Prickett Massey on Dec. 2, 1950. Mrs. Parker was a member of the United Christian Fellowship and was owner-operator of Parker Screen Printing.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Parker; daughters and spouses, Beth Hamilton (Shannon) and Amanda Coggins (Josh); grandchildren, Brylee Coggins, Lauren Hamilton (Alex), Peyton Hamilton and Kristen Hamilton; sister, Mary Treadwell (Barry); special friend and room mate, Ann King; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. from the United Christian Fellowship, with Pastor Gary Howell officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:30-6 p.m. at the church. The family wishes to thank the staff of Oakview Nursing & Rehab Center and Affinis Hospice for their compassionate care of Mrs. Parker.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the United Christian Fellowship.
