George T. Bauerle, 81, a lifetime resident of East Ridge, died on Monday, September 2, 2002, in Valley Head, Alabama.
Mr. Bauerle was a native of Valley Head, but had lived in the East Ridge/Chattanooga area for more than 30 years. He was a retired parts manager at Stowers Machinery Corporation with more than 25 years of service. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and the National Audubon Society.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vickey Bauerle.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Bauerle; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Al Bragg of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Suzanne Smith and husband Roger of Rocky Face, GA, and Railey Bragg of Chattanooga; great-grandson, Gavin Smith of Rocky Face, GA.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Lakewood Memory Gardens South with Ben Konopa officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
