Lawrence L. "Larry" Lowe Sr., 85, of Hixson, died on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, in a Hospice House in Baltimore.
Mr. Lowe was a native of Greenback, Tenn., and a graduate of Maryville College. He was a member of Hixson United Methodist Church and the Sam McConnell Sunday School Class. He worked as a purchasing agent in the aluminum industry. He was a resident of the Hixson area from 1969 to 1994 and was a member of Hixson Masonic Lodge.
His wife, Johnnie C. Lowe, preceded Larry in death.
Survivors include a son, Larry Lowe Jr., and his wife, Carol, Fallston, Md.; a daughter, Marty Richesin, Cape Coral, Fla.; three grandchildren, Katie Propper, Brian Lowe, both of Fallston, Md., and Brandon Richesin, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Bacon officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
