Ruby Heath Lyas, 75, died peacefully on December 19, 2010.
She was born to the late Joe and Annie Bell Heath.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Lyas; parents; brothers, Jesse and Roy Heath; sister, Sarah Banks.
She is survived by her sister, Thelma Ringer of Chattanooga; nephew, Ernest Watley of Chattanooga; a host of nieces and nephews from Chattanooga, and Dayton, Oh., Atlanta and Rome, Ga.; other relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 28, at noon in the chapel.
The body will lie in state after noon on Monday, Dec. 27, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
